In this hands-on workshop, students bring their own small upholstered chair and learn proper, professional upholstery techniques from start to finish. In a supportive and encouraging learning environment students will work at their own pace. Instruction focuses on correct methods for stripping, rebuilding, padding, and applying fabric, with an emphasis on quality craftsmanship and long-lasting professional results. Students will enjoy learning by doing, build confidence in their skills, and leave inspired—with practical knowledge they can use on future upholstery projects.

For greatest success in the time allowed small chairs only, preferably without cushions. Chair must be approved before class. Instruction and use of tools included. Materials such as foam, Dacron, and foundation materials can be purchased during class. Fabric not included and will need to be purchased prior to class.
